Party Host Helpers has cultivated the greatest event staff in major cities nationwide so that when it comes your upcoming Galentine’s day party, you can make more time for wine with the girls while someone else does the pouring.
With the February 14th quickly approaching, love is in the air, but so is the stress of throwing your own Galentine’s Day party. It doesn’t have to be that way, in fact with PHH you have rosé, all day. Take a peek into some insight from one of our Helpers, Ashley, from last year’s Galentine’s event in Washington, D.C.
“I love working as a Party Host Helper in Washington, I am able to use my background in bartending, my love of the service industry, and people to brighten others’ special events.
I’ve been with Party Host Helpers since they have opened in Washington D.C. and have enjoyed every minute of it. The best part is going to unique events and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Last year I was the Helper at a Galentine’s event for about fifteen women held on February 13th at one of the ladies’ homes. I arrived about ten minutes early so I could start setting up and my host was so grateful. She gave me a quick tour of the house and the kitchen, as well as a few tasks to start on while she finished getting ready.
I put the finishing touches on a few apps, I preheated the oven so that I could put the main course in to heat up when the time came, and finished putting up the remainder of the decor. The host had made adorable heart cut outs to look like candy hearts on one side and with pictures of all her friends on the other. How sweet!
I set up the bar with a signature drink that of course incorporated strawberries and champagne in honor of Valentine’s Day but with a special twist.
The drinks were a hit and everyone was impressed by the way I cut the strawberries to look even more like hearts. In addition to the signature drink, I was serving up mixed drinks, wine, and beer, plus replenishing the appetizers.
By the time the guests arrived, the food was out and the champagne was flowing. In true Leslie Knope fashion, the women were having a great time celebrating their friendship as everyone exchanged small gifts and laughed over shared memories.
This was a memorable Party Host Helper event for me and I had a great time running the event. The host was so happy to work with us and especially excited over that fact that while she was enjoying her party, I was taking care of all food and beverage needs while cleaning up as I went. She has requested me for Galentine’s Day 2019 and I can’t wait!”
