Spring is right around the corner, and we know it can be a busy season for all! Weekends full of holidays, birthdays, showers, and other celebrations! If you’re in charge of hosting one of the many parties, mix it up this year! Everyone loves Sunday Brunch, so why not make that the theme? It’s a great way to get your friends and loved ones together for any type of celebration, and with the help of our Party Host Helpers North New Jersey Ambassador, Rebecca, you will throw the bash of the season!

“No matter the cause for the festivity, you can never go wrong with a charming brunch. Gather your friends and loved ones, and impress them with your effortless spread! Though the occasion may be fancy, the setting and menu can maintain simplicity, and still be an elegant event people will remember for years to come.”

“No matter what the theme or reason for the occasion, keep the mood and the menu light!”

Keep it simple. Use white or ivory table cloths and napkins to keep the color focus on the food, drinks, and flowers. It’s easy to find ivory or white linens at local event rental places, and it allows you to build with the décor and color!

For those celebrations like bridal and baby showers, engagement parties, communions, Easter, and Passover, think about what’s in bloom: Tulips, Hyacinth, Snap Dragons, and Daffodils. These gorgeous buds can be found at your local florist or farmers market, and will bring the perfect pop of color to your brunch table.

Chalkboards are a current trend that will never truly go out of style! Give your guests chalkboard place cards and highlight your featured cocktails and menu options on a large chalkboard for all to see.

Pop of color

If you want an accent color other than the flowers, go with neutral gold or rose gold hues so your place settings still look chic, but also timeless.

Grab some balloons, straws or signs to add a little extra to your decor!

Your menu selections don’t necessarily have to be so heavy. Try to find a lighter version of your favorites treats, and make sure you have a variety of options so your dishes will satisfy every palette.

Skinny French Toast bites will still fulfill your carb craving, but also leave room to enjoy some other delicious dishes!

For the veggie-holics in your life, try the on-trend Southwest Avocado Toast or this Crustless Spinach, Mushroom, & Feta Quiche which, as a bonus, you can prepare the night before to pop in the oven before your guests arrive!

Finish off any brunch buffet with a vibrant Spring Fruit Salad with mint. It’s refreshing and is always a great dish no matter the occasion.

If you’re hosting a larger group, think about adding a DIY Waffle Bar, Antipasto, Pastry Buffet, and a 2nd quiche option with some of your favorite breakfast meats like sausage or bacon.

Why not put together a Mimosa Bar where your brunch guests can mix and match to tickle their taste buds! Set out some champagne and prosecco with colorful mixers like Orange, Cranberry, and Pomegranate Juice. Don’t forget to add some fresh fruit to the bar to garnish your glass!

White Sangria is another light and refreshing option, which you can make ahead in easy-to-serve batches. Don’t overlook the Moms-to-be; sparkling juices like grape and apple cider still feel festive in a champagne flute.

If you really want to impress your guests, prepare these Champagne Ice Cubes and toss them in a glass with your favorite berries, and voila! Cocktails all around!
